**New business is important. But some firms prioritise this over looking after existing clients.**
Not here they don't. They reward everything.
**Here you will work alongside a retiring IFA. Over the next 12 months you'll inherit part of the client book this business has bought. At this point you'll have c100 households, c£18m AUM and a healthy level of ongoing advice fees.**
**These clients have been paying a lower level of ongoing than is the norm. That means you'll have the opportunity to substantially increase ongoing. And once past your threshold, you'll earn 15% bonus on your ongoing fees above that.**
You'll get most new business by being thorough and diligent. But the firm picks up a lot of leads through its marketing. This includes joint ventures with accountants and seminars/exhibitions. And depending on how much new business you write, you'll earn15-50% of it.
**You'll be mentored by the retiring IFA and will get support from the sizeable paraplanning and admin team.**
You'll be in the office a fair amount during the handover, so being West Midlands based is an advantage. But longer-term there will be flexibility about where you spend your time.
You'll be a Level 4 adviser but you don't need to be an IFA. Restricted or bancassurance advisers will find this a perfect way to make the move into independent advice. But if you're an experienced IFA who wants a different way of working, we want to hearfrom you too.
Your strengths will lie in relationship management and being a thorough, conscientious adviser. You don't need to be a new business superstar or take clients. They're already waiting for you.
