**You might have experience as a** **accounts assistant, purchasing/procurement coordinator/manager, office manager or may be a combination of all three.**
**The role is varied, rewarding, demanding, but fun at the same time, it includes**:
Working closely with the company accountant and directors to continuously improve processes and systems
Update sales and purchase ledgers
Raise sales invoices and process supplier invoices
Credit control
Bank reconciliations
VAT Returns
Process weekly payroll for 50+ employees on sage payroll
Enrol staff on the company pension scheme
Monthly sales commission calculations
Process petty cash transactions
Raising purchase orders and matching delivery notes
Issuing order confirmations to suppliers
Resolving invoice & pricing discrepancies
Maintaining meticulous filing and administration systems
Dealing with general finance queries from staff, customers and suppliers
General office & HR administration
**Essential skills and experience required**:
Minimum of 3 years commercial accounts experience using Sage Line 50
Be a committed, focused, hard-working person that has very accurate data inputting skills and enjoys working with accounts and figures looking after every penny
Ability to work on your own initiative and under pressure with minimum supervision, to manage your own workload and achieve important deadlines
Maintain excellent levels of customer service to the organisation, championing a responsive and “right first time” approach
Have strong IT skills including popular office software packages e.g. Excel
Good verbal and written communication skills
Organised and methodical approach to manage multi-tasking roles and record keeping
Have a happy friendly, positive attitude
**The package we're offering**:
Excellent salary of £26,000 to £30,000 (dependent upon experience)
