**The Opportunity**
An exciting opportunity for an experienced compliance manager to join and lead an established and proficient compliance team. Playing a key technical, advisory and influencing role to ensure that Diligenta and the services we provide our customers are compliantwith FCA rules, requirements and principles.
**You'll be**:
- Overseeing compliance support to strategic projects and initiatives
- Management of compliance staff as necessary in support of the business achieving its key strategic objectives
- Providing in-depth regulatory and technical guidance to senior management, business units and Governance staff.
- Responsible for the 2nd line oversight of Diligenta 3rd party suppliers, to ensure regulatory obligations are met and actions are appropriately managed to completion
- Managing and chairing relevant Governance related committees
- Overseeing Governance control mechanisms ensuring they remain fit for purpose and that required reporting from these is produced (inc incident database, regulatory database, review findings)
- Managing stakeholder relationships with clients and internal functions
- Supporting the delivery of the annual Compliance Plan for Diligenta and its clients.
- Detailed knowledge of FCA rules and regulations and a thorough knowledge of regulatory development and consultative process
- Strong operational financial services/business knowledge developed over a number of years working within Financial Services - specifically within life & pensions.
- Ability to analyse and evaluate business as usual issues, and sound judgement to determine appropriate actions/solutions
- Strong understanding of regulatory structure and process, regulations and their underlying principles
- A credible influencer of management, able to propose and implement compliance solutions with the required level of personal impact
- Proven ability to manage a small team of compliance specialists and allocate resources appropriately
