This is a Payroll Assistant position, sitting within the core Human Resources team, reporting primarily to the head of HR in Wallingford. It is a Part Time position (minimum of 25 hours, up to 32 hours) which includes full time hours Monday and Tuesday.You will be assisting the Payroll Officer in all payroll processes.

**Description**
Key Responsibility for the **Payroll Assistant**
- Assist with the Payroll processing of circa 600 employees across all national sites
- Process all temporary and permanent payroll changes
- Check all payroll information, which includes overtime, bonus, holiday and sickness, from the T&A system each week/month
- Raise any payroll related queries
- Any other duties, such as ad hoc projects

- Keen eye for detail and high level of accuracy
- Have the ability to understand Payroll processes and legislation
- Strong knowledge of administration processes
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Strong team worker
- Carry excellent communication skills

- 14 month Maternity Cover
- Minimum 25 hours per week (up to 32 hours)
- Full Time hours Mondays and Tuesdays (8:00am - 5:00pm)
- Wednesday to Friday is 8:30am - 1:30pm
- Allocated Parking on-site
- **Salary: up to £21,000 per annum
