**The Role**

We are looking for a clinical assistant for our clinic in Colchester. As a clinical assistant you will be the first point of contact for our patients when they attend their appointment. You will be responsible for checking the patients vision, carrying out visual assessments including visual fields, diagnostic imaging with OCT and explaining the appointment process to the patient as well as making sure of the smooth running of the clinic. You will also assist with contacting patients and booking appointments.

**About you**

You will have a friendly and accessible manner and be happy working closely with our optometrists in delivering excellent patient care and a pleasant patient experience. You should be able to work on your own initiative and be comfortable using excel spreadsheets and clinical IT systems. Full training will be provided however a background working in an optical retail or clinical environment would be an advantage and a keen interest in eye care and ocular science is essential.

Enhanced Optometry Services is an independent UK optometry company that works in partnership with the NHS and other providers delivering specialist eye care services.

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:
