**Title**: Visual Team Leader
**Reports to**:Store Manager
**Objective**:
To achieve the Anthropologie mission of creating an ‘unimagined store experience’ developing a store culture that fosters creativity, and inspires both the store team and the customer. To support managers with store service initiatives and operating procedures through motivation and training of the sales team. Partner with peers to support in the communication and execution of seasonal layouts, VM direction and display schemes across the district.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Following company guidelines, implement all VM initiatives, window schemes and styling direction to the highest possible standard.
- Inspire others to work toward a common, collaborative goal by sharing inspiration, new ideas and pertinent information from Head Office. Facilitate an efficient shipment processing system in which merchandise is placed promptly in order to maximise sales.
- Build community relationships that directly reflect the Anthropologie culture.
**Requirements**:

- Proven track record of driving sales through excellent visual presentations and strong business acumen.
- An understanding of the Anthropologie culture and its appeal to the local market.
- Possess strong organisational skills.
- Project and time management experience.
- Open availability to work nights and weekends, including opening and closing shifts to meet the needs of the business
- Experience in a leadership or supervisor role, working in a fast-paced and customer focussed retail environment
- Ability to work with initiative and consistency under tight time constraints
- Ability to positively impact results in sales
**Expectations**

**People**
- Mentor retail teams on VM through training on visual expectations, product standards, fixture management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with peers; working collaboratively toward common goals
- Uphold Company standards and act as a mentor, teacher and positive role model to others
**Leadership & Communication**
- Attend daily meetings and collaborate with Store Manager and Visual Coordinators to share inspiration, new ideas and pertinent information from Head Office with the store team.
- Attend store Monday walkthroughs to gain an insight into store performance and sales
- Model, lead the way in daily interactions by being professional, a clear communicator and open to new ideas.
- Consistently collaborate Visual Coordinators and Store Manager which results in innovative and timely project execution.
- Possess strong communication skills in both written and verbal form
- Utilise sales reports to track, analyse and communicate key performance results
**Managing The Environment**
- Work with the Visual Coordinators and store team to ensure work areas are organised and clean, with an emphasis on customer and employee safety.
- Work with Visual Coordinators to maintain an organised display room, signage storage area and fixture room.
- Manage the shop floor to achieve a high level of service and ensure a positive and upbeat store environment for customers and staff alike
- Exhibit excellent floor presence by leading by example and training and coaching the sales associates and on service standards and operating systems
- Be a brand ambassador: provide a high level of service and aesthetic representation
**Merchandising & Display**
- Work in partnership with the Visual Coordinators and management team to coordinate and facilitate shipment placement and maintain standards throughout the store
- Exhibit familiarity with bestsellers product and prioritises the replenishment of top selling items
- Support sales by assisting in merchandising and display projects as is needed
**Operations**
- Successfully lead the team in the shipment receipt process and complete shipment turnaround promptly
- Take ownership of receiving to ensure that operational tasks are completed and keep receiving and back stock areas neat, clean and organised
- Set the example by adhering to Company policies and procedures
- Always adhere to company health & safety regulations
- Support sales generation by creating an environment that highlights the appearance of the product and reflects the customer’s lifestyle and interests.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to support the store in achieving the stock loss goal. Ensure all merchandise used for display is maintained, properly handled and accounted for at all times.
- Store keyholding and support with opening and closing when required to meet the demands of the store and business
