**Become a Waking Night Support Worker.**

What matters to the people we support matters to us. It’s their life, their way.

We are looking for someone to join the team supporting a gentleman in his own home in Folkestone during the night.

You will be working in their home, so it’s important you can connect. Some people may like to stay up late and watch a film, listen to Music with a hot chocolate, or enjoy a relaxing bath before going to bed. For others, they may be early risers and want your support to get up and ready for the day ahead, and so your role will be to provide responsive support during the night and early morning as required.

So, if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could communicate and deliver support _with_ and _alongside_ people, then this is the place for you.

This post is for 2 waking nights per week (18 hours) and our night shifts are from 10pm to 7am.

**What will you do?**

Supporting people is really important but it’s not all watching films and drinking Hot Chocolate. We also support people to take medication, assist with personal care and maintain their home in a way they feel safe and well, so you may be asked to support with some light household duties as well.

At times you will be required to attend training and team meetings during the day, outside of your normal night work pattern.
