Our Mission is to keep our customers’ homes safe, secure and well maintained - it’s what we do.

We’re now looking for an Apprentice Electrical Administrator to join our Electrical team in Widnes.

This is a fixed term position initially, from the successful applicant’s start date until the end of their apprenticeship.

You’ll be working Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week, from 8am - 5pm with a one-hour lunch break.

As part of your apprenticeship course, you’ll receive study time for at least 20% of your working hours. This could be at a local college in the Halton area, face-to-face or through online learning.

**What you’ll be doing**

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the day to day running of a busy team.
- Utilise Evolve’s IT system to undertake appointment planning, allocating property repair and maintenance works to Evolve Operatives and external contractors, monitoring and updating records accurately and promptly for works completed.
- Uploading documents
- Updating spreadsheets and IT systems
- Efficient and professional delivery of administrative processes
- Use of basic Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Liaise with customers, clients and work colleagues, primarily by telephone, to ensure property repairs and maintenance works are planned and carried out as required.
- Deal with the delivery and franking of post as required, ensuring it is distributed and collected correctly and that issues are promptly resolved.

You’ll also have the opportunity to provide administrative support to a number of other key functions in our business that will enable you to develop the skills required as part of your apprenticeship.

**What we’re looking for**

You’ll need 3 GCSEs including English and Maths at Grade C/4.
- Have a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Have a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Be a great team player with the ability to work on own initiative
- Have strong all-round IT skills (including Excel)
- Have excellent communication skills
