This role will be working with a team of dedicated estates professionals to deliver effective maintenance services to the mechanical services and assets that underpin the delivery of healthcare services at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, retained estates at Peterborough and Stamford & Rutland Hospital.

We require a team player with broad range of skill sets to undertake basic fault finding and conduct routine maintenance to range of mechanical systems. The basic working week is 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday. The position is also eligible for the NHS pension scheme along with access to a wide range of staff benefits, and in addition to public bank holidays annual leave of 27 days on appointment rising to 29 days after 5 years and 33 days after 10 years.

No formal qualifications are essential however a thorough understanding of mechanical systems are required along with an attention to detail. We are looking for someone who will take pride in the highest standards of work. You will meet and deal with a variety of people including staff, service users and visitors and therefore must have excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with a range of people in care environment.
