Freelance Shipping

We are looking for a highly organised, hard-working and proactive Shipping & Stock Coordinator to join the team at the Nicholas H Wood studio in Melksham, Wiltshire.

The job includes:

- Processing orders on our online platforms and physical shop.
- Packaging orders.
- Weighing parcels and booking shipping.
- Taking parcels to the post office and drop off points (using a sack truck).
- Updating online platforms and customers with tracking details.
- Raising and fulfilling any lost or damaged claims with shippers.
- Assisting customers with any issues with in-transit parcels (for example customs clearance).
- Ensuring that both the workshop and shop are fully stocked at all times with casts and materials, such as plaster, boxes, tape, etc. This will include driving to and from the workshop and shop to re-stock when necessary.
- Purchasing and collecting materials.
- Keeping a tidy work area and assisting with cleaning the studio whenever necessary.

This role is all about organisational skills, problem solving and having a robust and hard-working attitude towards work. It is essential that applicants are able to keep records of stock, materials and deadlines, and communicate effectively with the team to ensure the smooth running of the workshop and shop.

Pay: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
