**Otto Berkes** is HireRoad’s Chief Executive Officer. **About the Role**
As a Senior Software Developer you will be a key part of the product team and involved at all stages of the development lifecycle, giving you a chance to influence the technology we produce. Whilst working remotely, collaboration is key and you’ll work closelywith both your immediate team and wider internal stakeholders.
You will have the opportunity to work on projects in Agile scrum environment with cross functional teams including Devs, QAs, Project Office, DevOps and more using cloud technologies to grow and take on responsibility in a challenging but rewarding environment.
**Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions**
- Collaborating with Business Analysts, Technical Architects, Project Managers, and Delivery teams to translate concept requirements into technical specifications and high-quality code
- Develop technical design documentation, supporting cross-functional Technology Teams to deliver quality products and features that meet user requirements
- System and technical documentation according to product owner and technical team's needs.
- Provide accurate data-driven reports and metrics to Technical and Project leads
- You will participate and contribute to agile planning and design sessions regularly
- Deliver best practices in source code management, using source control tools and processes
- Provide reliable estimates to the Development manager on allocated projects and work
- Participate in Peer Code Reviews to improve the quality of software development
- Responsible for communicating technical detail to non-technical team members and stakeholders such as Project Managers, Testers and clients.
**Required Skills**:
- Independence and effective communication skills
.NET Core C#, targeting Linux (.NET Standard)
- Entity Framework Core
- RESTful API development
- Service-oriented architecture
- Docker containers (Linux)
- Experience in CI/CD for containerized deployment within AWS
- Familiarity with container orchestration technologies (Docker Compose, Kubernetes)
- PostgreSQL
