We are seeking a commercial counsel to join the Head of Legal in a small, collaborative team in our Head Offices in Caerphilly.The **Senior Legal Counsel** will provide broad and varied commercial support across the business whilst maintaining a high level of autonomy and managing stakeholder relationships. Ideally with experience in B2B commercial contracts,procurement contracts and tenders.This is a hybrid role at the moment with a view to working form Caerphilly for much of the week post Covid.
**Other aspects of the role will include**:

- Advise on a broad range of legal matters including contracts, regulatory, compliance and some employment as and when required
- Provide sound legal advice and support to business divisions relating to corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters
- Liaise with external counsel where required
- Draft a wide range of legal documents and support materials
- Lead negotiations on a broad range of commercial contracts
- Provide training to business departments such as commercial and legal considerations and regulatory changes
- Support legal department in a wide range of initiatives, and improvements.
- 5 Years + PQE, qualified in England and Wales
- Previous experience working in a commercial role and negotiating contracts
- Previous in-house experience preferable
- Excellent drafting and negotiating skills
- Strong knowledge of commercial law, and compliance
- Ability to work autonomously.
