**The Role**

Job Purpose*

Working as a 2nd member of a team on a Unit specific to your role, visiting all types of clients commercial, residential, industrial, rail, road, utility, etc. across the UK carrying out Asset Inspections. Teams generally consist of 2 members and you will be expected to follow instructions from the Engineer(s) on site as well as your Project Supervisor but also work under your own initiative where possible.
The main work that will be carried out will be on the Telecoms network by cleaning, maintaining and surveying assets.

Princip**a**l** Accountabilities*
- Operating the following equipment day to day based on specific role:

- HGV Jetting Unit
- Jet Van
- Using iPad/Tablet to update relevant systems with jobs carried out.
- Ensure compliance with all aspects of Health and Safety, Quality and Environment
- Ensure Company policies are always adhered to.
- Ensure all site related incidents are reported to your Supervisor.
- Contribute and react swiftly to resolve problems before they escalate.
- Work closely with associated Engineers, ensuring all aspects of work are completed on site.
- Contribute towards producing high quality results, reports and feedback.
- Always establish good relationships and communication and resolve issues and early resolution of any potential problems.
- You need to be flexible too: we operate 24/7 so there will be early starts, weekend working and an out-of-hours working across the UK.

The Person*

**Qualifications**

**Essential**
- Full Clean Driving License

*
Desirable*
- Experience with the following Jetting Equipment: Van Pack, Cityflex, Jetvac, Recycler
- Water Hygiene & Reverse Assist (Banksman)
- High-pressure water jetting
- Confined space level 2 and above
- Experience in telecoms industry
- NRSWA Streetworks
- Manual Handling & First Aid at Work
- CSCS & Fit to Work
- HGV Class 2 or above.

Knowledge & Experience*
- Proven experience within the Utilities Sector preferably in the telecoms industry
- Proven experience of working in customer service or a customer focused environment.
- Professional, customer focused with a good standard of verbal and numerical reasoning.
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety
- Knowledge of waste network operations business processes
- IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office package

**Salary**: £9.60-£10.60 per hour
