Solution Architect - eCommerce - Contract - Inside IR35 - £800/day

The Solution Architect will join the clients grocery team, which is is uniquely geared to create deep relationships with the clients biggest global partners, representing a large number of sites across multiple countries, enabling vast marketing co-brandedcampaigns and attracting many new customers to our platform through the power of their brand. There is a need for a Solution Architect to partner with Product, Project Managers and Engineering to unlock new potential for our largest existing and new grocerypartners.

**Responsibilities for Solution Architect**:

- Analyse current technologies used within new and existing partners and determine ways to enable seamless integration with the clients platform
- Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed solutions
- Work closely with Information Technology professionals within partners to ensure resources are available for projects and working properly
- Propose and establish framework for necessary contributions from various departments
- Account for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources and scope
- Work closely with program management teams to successfully monitor progress of initiatives
- Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions
- Define clear goals for all aspects of a project and manage their proper execution
- Ensure successful integration of solutions with new and existing grocery partners
- Contribute to future roadmap and transformations aimed at providing 'feature enhancements' and 'value addition' to the integrating partners as well as the client

**Qualifications for Solution Architect**:

- Essential
- Experience working in setups involving integrations and collaborations with multiple teams, partners or 3rd parties
- Experience with Integration Frameworks and methodologies including APIs and other data exchange (e.g. CSV, XML, JSON) mechanisms via SFTP and Cloud protocols
- Ability and experience working in Agile environments with the aim to add continuous incremental improvements in shorter iterations
- Decision oriented and innovative approach when determining solutions for integrating partners
- Project management and leadership skills
- Experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure (Preferably AWS)
- Experience in software engineering and design architecture
- Positive outlook in meeting challenges and working to a high level
- Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes
- Desirable
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred
- Fluency in multiple programming languages (Java, Go, C#, Ruby, Scala, JS, SQL, Etc)
- Professional experience working with and analysing computer hardware and software
- Extensive knowledge and experience working with operating systems
- Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
