The Red Snapper Group (RSG) is a market leading staffing services, media, events, and education services provider within the law enforcement, cyber security, offender supervision and regulatory services markets.

We are currently working in partnership with Motability a national charity. Their purpose is enhancing the lives of disabled people with transportation solutions and supporting future growth.

RSG are looking to recruit a Mobility & Driving Advisor. This is a permanent position and you will be field based for the majority of the week with 1 day working from home. Location wise you will covering the Peterborough, Lincoln, Hull areas were you will be carrying out assessments.

To be considered for the role you will be an approved Driving Instructor Level 4 and be comfortable with staying away from home regularly. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Driving Instructor who want to make a real impact & difference on people lives.

**Job Purpose**

To carry out face to face mobility assessments with disabled customers, in relation to vehicle and adaptation requirements, prepare detailed assessment reports to support charitable funding decisions.

**Role**
- Carrying out approximately 250 customer assessments per year.
- Conduct driver and passenger mobility assessments to cover areas such as driving, cognitive and physical ability (including product demonstrations and the opportunity to test drive vehicles and adaptations) as required and make detailed recommendations compatible with company polices.
- Assist customers, carers or driving instructors with vehicle/adaptation familiarisation.
- Liaise with Grants Advisors to ensure grant procedures are followed through to grant award.
- Produce concise, accurate and timely assessment reports in line with good practice.
- Provide support and guidance to Motability staff to ensure customers are provided with a timely and suitable solution.
- Promote awareness of Motability’s services and responsibilities to stakeholders and other external organisations.
- Keep abreast of assessment techniques, technology, standards and legislation relating to vehicles, driving instruction and mobility products.
- Attend exhibitions, external meetings and fundraising events as required.

**Essential Criteria**
- Approved Driving Instructor (Level 4) qualification.
- Experience as an approved driving instructor.
- Previous experience in a customer focussed environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Have a full clean UK driving license.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Deliver customer service excellence both internally and externally.
- Confidence to deal positively with challenges that are presented.
- Organise priorities so that work is delivered accurately and on time.
- The client is holding an assessment day in Harlow, Essex on Thursday 10th February.
