Licenses required and preferred as follows
- Counterbalance License REQUIRED
- Reach Truck License SOME EXPERIENCE NEEDED
The main duties for the position of Warehouse Operative will consist of the following:
Receiving orders into the Warehouse and check off stock and preparing customer orders for dispatch
Relocating products using various forklifts and pump trucks in our storage system
Keeping accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock items
Maintaining and organising the yard and acting as the final point to ensure that the quality of product leaving the business is to the highest standards
Stepping up to control of access to site in absence of the Manager
Ensuring safe manoeuvring of all vehicles on site
To assist in manufacture and packaging of product in line with standards of safety, hygiene, quality, quantity, cost and timescale
To contribute to the factory's compliance to all relevant company/site legislative policies, procedures, regulations and practices
To highlight to Supervisor any matters which may be detrimental to production and/or quality
Previous experience working in a Warehouse environment, ideally have a Forklift licence and experience use of counter balance / pump trucks, along with the ability to work within a team to achieve business goals. Part of the role will involve record keepingand assisting with the documentation so strong MS office skills are desirable.
