We are a 3-16 all age fully inclusive Academy. We are on an exciting journey to become an outstanding organisation having just secured our best ever set of exam results. We are looking to recruit a hardworking, committed and dedicated cleaner to start from as soon as possible. The successful applicant will be working with our strong premises team, reporting directly to our Site Manager, to ensure the effective cleaning of our teaching and communal spaces alongside some toilets. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, proactive and engaging and be able to provide high standards of cleaning for our school.

**Main Duties**:
To provide a cleaning service within the school premises.
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing designated areas
- Empty bins and dispose of waste properly
- Clean washrooms and restock supplies as needed
- Report any damages or repairs to management promptly
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times
- have a conscientious and diligent work ethic
- have high standards and take pride in delivering a quality service
- be friendly and able to communicate in a professional manner with both students and staff
- be able to listen to, understand and follow instructions
- understand health and safety and COSHH regulations in relation to ensuring safe working practice in undertaking your role
- role model those personal qualities we wish to instil in our young people
- be willing to undertake training and work flexibly to meet the demands of a continuously improving organisation
- be a great team player, friendly, and professional
