We are currently working with a fantastic authority that is looking for an Interim Reporting Solution and Report Developer

Objective:
To develop a reporting solution and reports for social care and housing services at Slough Borough Council, which improves the council’s evidence-based decision-making.

Activities:

- Build Management Information reports for the housing service to enable:

- Statutory returns
- Regulatory returns
- FoI responses
- Management Information
- Adapt existing Management Information reports for the adult social care service:

- Editing existing reporting suite, once reports have been used in the service for an initial period
- Collaborate with the council’s IT service to move a server-based solution to the cloud
- Improve ETL processes
- Upskill SBC staff to manage and iterate the processes and reports that are built

**Skills**:

- Constructing data warehouses linked to case management systems
- Designing and building ETL processes
- Transforming data and building reports using SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, Report Builder, and Mobile Reports Publisher packages
- Running testing and acceptance cycles with service staff
- Understanding of cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate from server to cloud
- Training staff to understand technical processes, manage them, and iterate them
