**Support Assistant**

**Location**:Caerphilly

**Salary**: £23,000 - £27,000 per annum

**Job Type**:Full Time, Permanent
**Purpose of role**

The role is office based and will require working directly with clients and site engineers. Excellent communication skills are required to ensure co-operation and flexibility in fulfilling the Support Contract obligations. A key element of the role is thedata entry and the review of the Company Custom Web Portals, so competency in IT and use of software packages is essential.

**Accountabilities**:
Typical (non-exhaustive) duties may include:

- Data administrative support for Support Co-ordinators
- Data administrative support for Support Manager
- Tracking and updating of stock box sheets
- Updating of quote register and tracking
- Tracking and purchasing of support materials
- Daily / Weekly / Monthly Data Uploads from loggers and manual transactions
- Daily data checking and notification to Support Co-ordinators where appropriate: no recent data, stuck solids, not reading solids, very low or very high solids, higher or lower than average solids, very low or very high-volume readings, illegal transactions
- Regular checking of system contractability and data transfer delays
- Daily data cleansing - missing transactions, illegal transactions, missing/incorrect origins, volume updates, incorrect line allocation, test transactions, high solids, date issues
- Data updates or uploads requested by clients (Logger issues / site issues / incorrect input/option by users)
- Routine Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reports Internal & External
- Portal User Management and administration - Web Porting / POS Portal / Booking Portal / iHost /
- SIP Portal
- Set up Portal auto-reports to be sent to users
- Administration of fobs -activation / deactivation, adding/removing users
- Administration of fob data - new or changed companies, origins, waste classes, updating registrations, capacities
- Adding or updating data in web portal - companies, waste classes, waste types, prices
- Management of pin codes
- Liaison with Card Management as necessary

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the safety of all of the company’s employees, it’s clients and the general public
- Ensure that all Company Policies & Procedures are adhered to
- Uphold the Company’s brand name & reputation and ensure it is not damaged
- Follow the procedures as laid out within the Integrated Management Systems of the company
- Maintain company confidentiality as required

**Qualifications/Skills**
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working with other teams
- Proven IT Skills - Intermediate Level Excel is needed
