We are looking for a General Assistant to join our team and help maintain the cleanliness of our premises and ensure that the property remains compliant by supporting in the completion of our company Health & Safety, Fire and Hygiene procedures.

The 2 shift patterns are set as the following, and can not be changed:
Early Shift 07.00-15.00

Late Shift 15.00-23.00

Shifts will vary from week to week dependant upon business needs but will be based around 24 hours per week and discussed during interview process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Complete fire and security checks and oversee keyholders and keys.
- Where necessary, undergo training for health and safety compliance, including DSE assessments.
- Ensure the Home’s furniture, furnishings and fittings are sufficiently clean.
- Ensure all surfaces of floors, walls and ceilings are sufficiently clean.
- Clean carpets when necessary.
- Empty wastebaskets ensuring that waste is disposed of safely in line with the requirements.
- Clean all internal windows monthly.
- Clean all bedrooms thoroughly once a week on a rota basis. Ensure that the communal areas are cleaned daily.
- Ensure all bathrooms and toilets are cleaned daily.
- Chemicals must be stored in line with the COSHH requirements.
- Re-stock paper products and dispensers.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £10.18-£10.42 per hour

Work Location: In person
