Warehouse Returns Operative

Working in out Tool Connection service department, we are looking to recruit a Warranty Operative to join our existing team. After first-rate in-house training, a typical day will see you working with the team to ensure the efficient running of the Service Department and providing excellent customer service.

We are searching for a Warranty Operative who will develop an expert knowledge of our products and become an outstanding advocate for both the department and the company.

**Location: Southam, Warwickshire**

**Main Duties**:
**The duties for this role are varied but include** Returns, Repairs and inspections, Packaging, Administration, Rolling Stock Take, housekeeping, and Health & Safety.
- Take responsibility for dealing with returned items and processed in the correct
way and in a timely manner.
- After checking items, determine whether the item should be replaced or credited.
Liaise with Accounts Department to process credits.
- Work with other departments to organise and monitor returned products.
- Assist the Senior Service Coordinator to carry out minor repairs to mechanical /
electrical items where appropriate.
- Building and pre-delivery inspection of capital equipment.
- Branding capital equipment and low volume products.
- Repackage goods as required and ensure items are returned to stock in line with
company procedures.
- Assist the Senior Service Coordinator to provide such data as is required by other
departments.
- Resolve all queries efficiently and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction, both
- Ensure spreadsheets and other data is always kept up to date and accurate.
- Work with the Senior Service Coordinator to ensure the department’s rolling stock
take is completed effectively and efficiently as required.
- Keep the service area and office tidy, rotation of stock where necessary, removing
unwanted / damaged items.
- Ensure H&S legislation and procedures are always followed.
- IT skills to include Word and Excel
- Previous experience working in a service department
- Excellent telephone manner
- Team player
- Customer focused but commercially aware of business needs.
- Able to demonstrate an ability to build excellent working relationships with both
external and internal customers.
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
