Coss / Pic (General Foreman)

CML are looking for a COSS / PIC to join our expanding team, working on the LNE & LNW Framework for Network Rail, based out of our Ferryhill depot.

As a General Foreman at CML you will always work in and promote a safe manner following appropriate procedures and instructions at all times.

You will organise, motivate and supervise all site operatives & sub-contractors as well as identifying training needs and competencies of site operatives.

You will work on the LNE & LNW Framework for Network Rail undertaking railway maintenance work including but not limited to vegetation clearance and brickwork.

You will be responsible for liaising with clients / visitors in a professional manner and where necessary, carry out; inductions, site briefings of method statements and activities, daily inspections and record any changes. This will include taking photographs and record additional works found to the Project Manager / Site Manager and ensure return to head office.

You will be required to get stuck in with other tasks when not utilising your skills / trade, we work as a team at CML.

**Desirable Skills**
- Civils / Rail background
- Demonstrable experience of running site teams in a fast paced environment

- PTS - Essential
- COSS / PIC - Essential
- SSSTS/ SMSTS
- Supervisory experience - Essential
- First Aid

- Most of our current projects are regional, therefore from time to time you may be required to lodge / work away
