**Your New Role**
A fantastic hybrid opportunity for a Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience individual with industry experience to join a fast moving business based in Durham. Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for businesspartnering, analysis and decision support, performance management and continuous improvement and financial planning processes.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Partner with the business to provide insightful financial information to enable decision making. Identify new opportunities to mange costs, unlock value and monitoring emerging risks and mitigating actions.
- Analyse and interpret financial information to identify and highlight key financial opportunities and risks.
- Support the business in the preparation of business cases ensuring all costs are captured and value of change is understood. Monitor and report performance of changes and undertake post implementation reviews.
- Empower business colleagues to manage the day to day financial decisions in their areas through prioritisation, support, education and engagement.
- Proactively look to streamline and simplify processes and reporting.
- Undertake financial performance reviews, maintain an ongoing forecast and lead month end management accounting processes to identify and track risks and opportunities and updating any changes.
- Challenge information where appropriate.

**You will be/have**:

- Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) Accountant or Qualified by Experience within a relevant sector.
- Experience in a fast paced, cost management focused financial organisation.
- Proven experience of achieving deadlines by working in partnership with others.
- Be able to establish good, strong relationships with all levels of stakeholders across the business.
- Have good experience in change management and preparing of business cases.
- Able to confidently operate in a financial environment, analysing and interpreting financial information to bring simplicity to resolve problems, deliver outputs and communicate information for decision making.
- Demonstrate your ability to provide insightful customer focused and simplified reporting.
- Experience in presenting and translating finance data to non-financial managers.
- An inquisitive nature and drive to understand and impact the business performance and decision making.
- Self-motivated and proactive, taking ownership and accountability for delivering outputs successfully.
- Advanced Excel Skills.
- Knowledge of Oracle or SAGE.
