Warehouse Supervisor

We are looking to recruit a Cold Store Warehouse Supervisor at our distribution centre in Cumbernauld.

We offer a permanent full time position working night shifts from (18:00 - 06:00) and operate on a 4-on-4-off cycle (including weekends).

**Note**:

- Flexibility is required to help cover night shifts in the Dry Warehouse as and when needed.

**Pay, working hours & benefits**:
We offer a competitive salary of £28000 rising up to £30000 upon completion of a 6 month probabtion period.

As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for utilising available resources to maximise efficiency in order to achieve and exceed KPI's. Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet daily operational requirements within the warehouse, as well as providing a safe working environment for all by adhering to the Site Health & Safety procedures and ensuring that these are understood and practiced by the entire team.

You will also ensure high levels of hygiene and housekeeping in the warehouse at all times and deliver team member performance reviews, development and/or succession planning as appropriate. Address any performance issues or training needs. As it is a fast paced Warehouse environment you will need to continuously monitor, review and act upon available operational reports ensuring quality and performance are never compromised and if you need to escalate any potential issues to the appropriate Warehouse Manager.

- A proven track record of cost savings, productivity costs, quality control and error reduction.
- Excellent team building, leadership and motivational skills.
- The ability to communicate in an open and honest manner with the team, transport & the customer.
- Be able to demonstrate the commitment, enthusiasm and flexibility to work various shift patterns which are able to respond to customer demand.
- Experience of HR related activities; performance review, appraisal, disciplinary, grievance and good knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
- Monitor inbound or outbound Trunks to ensure SLAs are strictly adhered to.
- Based out of the site in Cumbernauld, you will need to have a flexible approach to working hours - the shifts will be 12-hour shifts (18:00 - 06:00) and operate on a 4-on-4-off cycle (including weekends).
