School located in Clapham are interested in securing a **Design Technology teacher** teaching job starting this Immediately. The ideal **Design Technology teacher** will be qualified teacher with a solid teaching background. Someone who will have a degree related to Design Technology and knowledge of the National Curriculum.

The school is interested in appointing a Design Technology **teacher** to join a thriving and dynamic department ASAP. The ideal **Design Technology teacher**would be joining a small but well-resourced department and be required to deliver lessons to GCSE and A 'level.

**Design and Technology teacher contract / position details**
- Location: Clapham
- Position: Design and Technology teaching
- Type of work: Design and Technology class teacher
- Job start date: September
- Contract type: long-term
- Minimum rate of pay in line with your main pay scale
- Hour: 8:30 am-3:30pm (term time only)

**THE RIGHT DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TEACHER WILL BE**:

- Hold a BA in something Design Technology related and PGCE
- Knowledge of Woodwork or Graphics
- Confident with teaching GCSE and A Level
- Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box

**THE SUCCESSFUL DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TEACHER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING**:

- UK classroom Design Technology teaching experience
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
- A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
- Salary paid to scale - **teachers' pay scale MPS or UPS1 dependent on experience**
