**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Set up, operate, and maintain manual lathes and milling machines
- Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances and engineering specifications
- Inspect and verify parts using measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working order
- Follow all safety procedures and promote safe working practices in the workshop

We are looking for someone with the following experience and qualifications:

- Proven experience operating manual lathes and milling machines
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and machining principles
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

**Working Hours**
- Full time - 39 hours per week
- Immediate start available

Pay: £14.50-£16.00 per hour
