Are you interested in joining a growing global manufacturing organisation?

At Origin, we are looking for a Team Leader in the Loading Team who will be responsible for loading and checking customer orders in accordance with paperwork to ensure all listed items are on the vehicle and that any shortages are notified and communicatedusing the loading process. You will also ensure all vehicles are loaded correctly to eliminate damage to goods when in transit and in the correct order as per the delivery sheet.
Working Hours: 10.00pm - 7.00am.
**Key Responsibilities of the Loading Team Leader includes but is not limited to**:

- Load vehicles with the relevant orders accurate to the paperwork and in the correct order
- Ensure all vehicles are loaded in a safe manner and that the product loaded is protected from damage whilst in transit
- Investigate any missing items from load
- Maintain responsibility for the team ensuring direction of staff
- Note and report any damage identified on products whilst loading
- Complete paperwork and timesheets for Agency staff and ensure correct hours are submitted
- Able to drive up to and including 7.5t vehicles so you can shunt vehicles onto relevant loading bays and park up after loading has been completed
- Ensure premises are secure and check all vehicles are locked and secured at the end of each shift
- Communicate with office team any issues and send out relevant and accurate Loading issue log to relevant departments
- Carry out staff appraisals and meeting in line with HR requirements

**What you will have**
- Relevant transport background and experience of working in a transport environment for a minimum of 2 years or experience of Warehouse background where vehicles have been loaded (Essential)
- 7.5 tonne license (Essential)
- Experience of vehicle loading, strapping and loading, team and paperwork management (Desirable)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good computer skills with experience of Microsoft packages
- Excellent organisation with the ability to manage staff and organise cover for any sickness and shortages
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and take initiative
- Flexible and Reliable
