**Warehouse Operative**

We are looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Operative to join our growing wholesale business in CR0 Areas.

Our business has been a market leader in the Food and Beverages industry for the last 25 years and we are now seeking to grow our warehouse team.

**Must be available to work Monday to Friday 4:00 am START or 5:00 am START depending on rota. Occasional Sunday shift require on a rota basis with extra pay.**

Food background, safety training, and experience with Microsoft Office package are pluses.

Duties include (but not limited to):
**Receiving and Storing Goods**
- **Receiving Deliveries**: Accepting and inspecting incoming goods for accuracy and quality. (Heavy Lifting expected)
- **Unloading**: Safely unloading goods from delivery vehicles using forklift
- **Storage Control**: Organizing and storing goods in their designated locations for easy retrieval.

**Picking and Packing Orders**
- **Order Fulfilment**: Locating, picking, and preparing items for shipment based on orders.
- **Packing**: Securely packing items to prevent damage during transportation.
- **Labelling**: Accurately labelling packages for shipping.

**Inventory Management**
- **Stock Counting**: Conducting regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory levels.

**Shipping and Dispatch**
- **Loading**: Preparing and loading items for dispatch onto vehicles.
- **Invoice Creation**: Generating invoices using accounting or inventory software based on the items picked and packed.

**Health and Safety**
- **Maintaining Cleanliness**: Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- **Following Procedures**: Adhering to health and safety regulations to minimize risks.
- Hold a full clean UK Driving Licence
