Agrii is a leading provider of agronomy services, technology and strategic advice. The Logistics and Supply Chain team includes over 200 employees working across 35 depots covering the whole of the UK delivering Agchem, Seed and Fertilizer.

**Overview**
On behalf of Agrii DEREK ERWIN T/A ROSEHILL FARM are seeking to recruit an experienced and professional Storeperson at our Newtonards site to provide a first class delivery service to our customers. The contract runs from March until the end of October 2025.

**Responsibilities**
- Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring accurate handling of products.
- Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
- Perform materials handling tasks, including sorting, and storing items in designated areas.
- Close attention to details is required given the high value of product being held
- Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and manage stock levels. Operate in house computer platforms
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of shipments against documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with materials handling techniques and heavy lifting practices.
- Basic maths skills for inventory management and record keeping.
- Ability to operate forklifts; certification is advantageous but not mandatory as training may be provided.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols.
- Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied as we are a seasonal business.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 9 months

Expected hours: 40 per week
