Livability Millie College are a new SEN College located at Holton Lee opposite Poole Bay. It is a one of a kind work environment with beautiful views, an invested and close team, and the opportunity to be a part of something truly special for our students.

Flourish hosts participants aged 25 who live with a disability or mental health illness to improve their wellbeing, learn new skills, and gain greater independence.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- To work closely with Flourish staff team, the Flourish manager and the Flourish participants to design a programme of activities to suit our service users.
- To work both in a one to one setting and leading small groups of Flourish participants to support them to gain valuable educational and work experience opportunities, accomplish their agreed personal development goals, promote their sense of wellbeing and independence using Holton Lee’s wellbeing model.
- Develop new activities with the additional possibility of products for service users to make that can be sold which will allow service users to gain work experience through a supported enterprise setting.
- Source materials and resources for projects in line with project budgets.
- To contribute towards collecting wellbeing and educational monitoring information on Flourish participants.
- To support independent volunteers, enabling them to support the service provision whilst also improving their own wellbeing.
- To work within of Holton Lee’s wellbeing model and the wellbeing structure of the Flourish programme.
- Be aware of risk, health and safety and safeguarding responsibilities for all site users. Contribute towards risk assessment protocol and procedures.
- Focus on ability not disability, using the social model of disability when working with staff, volunteers and service users.
- Ensure equal opportunities are at the heart of all work.
- Support colleagues and undertake shared staff team responsibilities.
