Job description

Bramble Homecare are recruiting for exceptional support workers with experience in Mental Health to work with service users.

As a mental health support worker for Bramble Homecare you will work directly with service users supporting their needs in relation to social factors, appointments and wellbeing, you will also be part of a Multidisciplinary team ensuring service users meet the requirements in place for ongoing treatment and support.

**Role & Key Responsibilities**:

- Support accessing the wider community
- Support with taking medication.
- Support with attending appointments
- Home support

**Skills and Experience**:
*
- Full driving license and access to own vehicle is essential for this position.
- Able to work as part of a team
- An understanding of the impact of poor mental Health and the social and emotional challenges they may face
- To be able to assist in bridging the gap between primary and secondary healthcare services
- Good communication skills both verbally and written
- Genuine passion for helping others and wanting to make a positive difference.
- Reliable and trustworthy

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cheltenham, Gloucestershire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
- full uk drivers licence (required)

Work authorisation:

- United Kingdom (required)
