Head of Service- Stop Smoking Services

Are you..... An experienced senior leader in a community health environment, managing complex multi-component services (ideally with experience in smoking cessation). Skilled in project management accustomed to using tools and processes to identify project goals, set and manage the schedule, anticipate and identify issues, remove obstacles, delineate responsibility, track task completion, and communicate progress Experience in evolving and developing services within a complex health system. A highly experienced contract and people manager.
A positive and proactive leader with the ability to motivate, engage and support delivery teams to achieve the highest standards and outcomes. A strategic thinker, able to foresee and take action to deal with problems and opportunities. An adept communicator who adapts the message to fit the needs of the audience You will have the ability to inspire and innovate with excellent communication skills to engage staff and stakeholders and build sustainable collaborative relationships. Senior and strategic leadership of the Sefton and Wirral services.
Driving the vision of the service with staff, partners, stakeholders and commissioners. Driving the outcomes-based service delivery model and achieve KPIs. Leading and ensuring active stakeholder engagement to develop an awareness of the service, ensuring that partners develop effective referral pathways. Analyse local and national data in order to impact and direct service outcomes.
Foster and encourage innovation with the staff team and partners to ensure the service engages with seldon heard groups. Take a client and community-centred approach to delivery focused on community assets. outcome. Performance management of the service, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of all service delivery in line with ABLs integrated governance framework.
Developing service reports of excellent quality, including contract management and performance reports. Representing the organisation and service at local and regional stakeholder and networking events. Driving service innovation utilising ABLs continuous improvement system, which includes delivery staff in leading innovation and service development supported by specialist leads. Working with clinical, community, social care, educational and statutory stakeholders to deliver safe, effective, person-centred care pathways.
Work with ABL engagement and communications team to implement and continuously develop the communications and marketing strategy and service promotion. Building strategic relationships across Sefton and Wirral areas, developing opportunities to expand the work that ABL does across this geography
