The overall purpose of the role is to provide an effective design advice service to architects and other specifiers across the Weber GB product range.

To enhance the reputation of Weber through offering a market leading specification service whilst limiting exposure to risk.

**Role Accountabilities**
- To provide effective and robust specifications across all product ranges.
- To support the Specification Sales teams by providing a full design service for projects.
- Participate in design meetings with specifiers, contractors and other clients to develop appropriate Technical solutions.
- Design solutions in compliance with the Building Regulations.
- Provide effective contribution to site meetings and limit the company's exposure to risk.
- Give support and advice at departmental meetings.
- To ensure CRM is utilised correctly and accurately so that information can be accessed as needed by all members of the Specification Team.
- To maintain close relationships with key customers to gather 'value added' ideas as part of the departments continuous development.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Specification Team Leader.
- Undertake any other duties as agreed with the Specification Team Leader consistent within the scope of the job.

**Required Experience and Qualifications**
- Educated to degree level (preferable but not essential) or equivalent business/construction qualification (Architecture, Construction, Building Technology, Building Design) or equivalent experience.
- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems experience
- Knowledge of construction methods relating to buildings
- Understanding of architectural drawings
- Practical use of AutoCad or other design software
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of Weber systems e.g ETICS
- Analytical and planning skills
- Communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to work in a cross functional role
- Construction industry background with 3 years technical / project experience
- Practical and logical knowledge of construction products and methods of constructions
- Experience and knowledge of relevant standards e.g. building regulations.
