**Location: Bolton**
**Term: Permanent**
**Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (dependent of experience)**
**Working hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday **
**About the Company**:
An exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading designer of display equipment. The business is established through 15 years of producing high end smart display equipment across European markets. As the Mechanical Design Engineer youwill be engaged in the creative design of new products. If you’re driven by innovation and looking for a business that will place investment in it’s people, this could be the ideal role for you.
**As the Mechanical Design Engineer, your duties will include**:

- The design of innovative products to meet specifications.
- Interacting with a multi-disciplined team to encourage collaboration in the product design process.
- Producing and assembling prototypes.
- Pushing for continuous improvement of products.

**As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have the following key skills**:

- Solidworks with PDM knowledge
- Development of plastic components
- Prototyping
- Sheetmetal fabrication
