Meraki Talent’s client is currently seeking a Compliance Assurance Consultant to join their business on a permanent basis. Our client is a highly successful Savings & Investments firm which has enjoyed a period of growth and product diversification in recent times.
As a Compliance Assurance Consultant you will work within the Conduct and Assurance team providing advice, opinion and assurance which helps the business make more informed decision and which improves customer outcomes. The team have a critical role to play in helping the business manager outcomes for customers and in ensuring appropriate 2nd line assurance is in place.
Key outcomes:
- Plan and undertake all types of compliance assurance reviews in line - this will involve talking to stakeholders across the business as well as outsourced service providers.
- Draft reports to a standard template which will be reviewed at board level
- Ensure that management actions are identified and tracked to resolution
- Provide regular updates and support to the Head of Assurance in reporting to key committees
- Assist more junior compliance assurance consultants in the delivery of their work
- Contribute to departmental projects
For this role we are looking to hear from financial sector professionals who preferably have experience within compliance monitoring assurance and/or internal audit. Good knowledge of the FCA and PRA rules and guidance is requires as is the ability to work autonomously.
