Job Title: Gallery Assistant

Hours: Part Time.

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne & Metro Centre

Here at North East Art Collective, we are a small independent business dedicated to showcase the wonderful work of local North East Artists. We have 12 years experience of providing an amazing Gallery and advertising Art.

Job Role

As part of our small knit team, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the day to day running of the Gallery. This will include;
- Customer Service
- engaging with all customers - offering advice, explaining the extra services we can offer.
- Auditing - Stock Take - Inputting delivery notes - Ordering stock.
- Marketing - Advertising with all social media platforms, design of internal and external marketing, Visual Merchandising.
- Website - Ensuring our website is up to date with new products
- Liaise with artists - getting to know each artist - ordering new stock - refreshing displays

**Requirements**:

- Computer competent - We use a few different systems including salesforce and Google Drive.
- Strong Communicator

Desirable
- Highly Motivated
- Receptive to learning new systems and procedures
- Sales experience would be beneficial

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour
