**Janssen UK** is recruiting for a **Commercial Operations Specialist**, located in High Wycombe. We are currently operating 3 days in the office, to 2 days remote hybrid working model.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Operations Specialist to work as a leader for tender management in our Patient Access Function, at Janssen UK, reporting to the Head of NHSE Commercial Engagement.

The Patient Access Function is charged with delivering access to make the difference for our patients and our healthcare system, of which Tender Management is an important component of the strategy.]

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Leading all tender management in the UK, developing, and implementing tendering strategies for all Janssen products leading to access for patients.

Providing strategic input and leading on tender shaping activities through evaluation of the evolving external landscape and both internal and external stakeholder engagement.

Collaborating and leading cross functional teams in the development of individual tender and pricing strategies and act as the lead and UK representative for all Tender Excellence work with our European team.

Lead external relationships with all procurement authorities in England and the Devolved Nations and build long term relationships with our key stakeholders for mutual benefit.

Having a strong awareness of procurement law and all aspects that relate to tender management, governance and compliance, maintaining high quality standards.

**Tender management, system and tools**

You will lead and develop strategy recommendations for all tender submissions and present to the relevant Commercial Lead and cross functional team.

You will be responsible horizon scanning and identifying tender opportunities for the UK business and lead the preparation, successful submission, and implementation to the highest quality standards in collaboration with the Operate Function.

As the lead representative for Janssen UK, you will be the point of contact for all Tender Excellence activities with our EMEA organization (European colleagues), identifying opportunities for system and tool enhancements, further ways to strengthen our business and sharing best practices.

**External relationships and shaping the environment**

You will lead and proactively shape the NHS contracting & procurement environment, with novel and differentiating approaches to optimise product positioning on frameworks and to ensure optimal patient access to Janssen UK products.

You will engage with the Commercial Medicines Directorate on tender topics and where appropriate, escalate any new policies relating to tender and public procurement.

You will develop and strengthen key relationships with all our main procurement authorities and act as a central point of contact for queries. You will be responsible for building long term relationships with our key stakeholders for mutual benefit.

**Collaboration and teamwork**

You will lead tender pricing strategy, recommendation, and approvals in collaboration with the Commercial and cross-functional team including the Operate Function.

You will be responsible for training new starters and other internal teams on tender process and identify impact on their role where required.

You will also support customer services and Operate Function with Audit information requests relating to tender and pricing of Janssen UK products.
