Van Driver

**Overview**
We are looking for a Van Driver (Self Employed) to join our small team in Crudwell, Malmesbury.

We are a UK based company, that makes regular, free collections of unwanted clothing and household items, direct from our customers’ homes.

We only collect from customers who have booked with us, this means we can operate more efficiently and our customers can organise and plan their donations for a time that best suits them.

We collect a variety of items which include clothes, shoes, books, DVDs, bric-a-brac, towels, linen and small electronics.

When a booking is made our customers will pack their items into boxes or bags ready for collection at their chosen address for the allotted time and date.

The Items are then sorted at our warehouse and shipped to countries that need them the most.

**Duties**
- Operate the van safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Where possible checking the suitability and condition of collected items photographing what was collected and logging this in the app.
- Working as a team to unload all vans upon returning to the warehouse.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding collection schedules and any relevant information.
- Navigate routes efficiently to optimise collection times.

**Skills/Requirements**:

- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly as a van driver or delivery driver. [Preferred]
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; no suspension or revocations (No more than 3 points) [Required]
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Pay: £130.00 per day
