**Working full-time from St. Neots**, you will be a HSE Coordinator.
Reporting to the Operations Manager you would be the primary contact for all Health, Safety and Environmental matters onsite.
**Key responsibilities (to name a few)**:
- Will develop, maintain and review HSE policies to ensure the company is compliant with all relevant health, safety, environmental legislation and corporate policy whilst also updating management of changes that may affect the company and their individual responsibilities.
- To prepare and report on site KPI's relating to e.g. accidents, incidents, risks and statistics, as dictated by external bodies and by Gates HSE Excellence, and drive improvement in results where necessary.
- To liaise with the enforcing authorities, develop and maintain a good working relationship with them. As the Management Representative onsite for ISO 14001, OHSAS 45001/PPC you will be responsible for developing and updating policies in line with these standards and being the point of contact with relevant auditing authority, ensuring readiness and translation of audit requirements into a schedule for site assessments.
- You will also support the Operations Manager and wider team in effective operation of the ISO 50001 standard. To review onsite training material and where necessary conduct basic awareness training in relevant health, safety and environmental matters for all employees.
- Experience in Hazard / Near Miss and Accident investigation in order to ascertain RCA and initiate the introduction / implementation of required controls measures in order to prevent recurrence.
- COSHH representative.
**ABOUT YOU**
**Required Experience**:
- CMIOSH preferred or GradIOSH working towards CMIOSH.
- NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent
- A strong technical knowledge across relevant health and safety legislation.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
**Required Skills**:
- Excellent organisational, communication skills both written and verbal.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
