An exciting new opportunity is now available for a junior or aspiring accountant to join a well-established chartered accountancy firm in Alton, Hampshire.

This is a rare opportunity for someone with 2+ years accounting experience to join a firm who will develop into an Accounts Senior, and then a Client manager. With a full study package, you will work through your AAT and then ACCA exams whilst building up your practical experience by working on accounts preparation, bookkeeping, and tax alongside a qualified Client Manager.

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of UK based accountancy experience - Ideally from an accountancy practice
- Ideally you will have started or finished your AAT qualification, and be actively studying or ready to start your ACCA.
- 2+ years’ experience of bookkeeping or accounts preparation form a UK based accountancy practice.
- Locally based to Alton, Hampshire.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence and ability to liaise directly with clients when needed.

**Duties**:

- End to end bookkeeping for a portfolio of varied accountancy clients.
- Preparation of year end and management accounts for clients from a range of industries.
- Quarterly VAT and CIS returns.
- CT600 corporation tax computations.
- Prepare and submit personal self-assessment tax returns.
- Answer client queries on a variety of financial matters (with the aid of your mentor)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
