We are helping a well-established and known predominately jersey supplier grow its team and find a Menswear Designer.

Managing high street fashion retailers the successful Menswear designer will be responsible for the day to day running of key menswear accounts which involves predominately designing men’s casualwear with a “smart edge “ ( Polo shirts, t-shirts, sweats ) researching new trends, sourcing fabrics, managing critical paths, approving samples for production quality, collaborating with clients to finalise ranges, instructing manufacturers with detailed specification packs, attending fashion shows and visiting factories. You will also be involved in designing and developing brand logos, trims and ranges

**MUST HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED**
3-4 years recent experience working either for a Menswear high street supplier or retailers designing men’s smart casualwear with a focus on Polos, T-shirts and sweats.
Able to produce graphics / prints
Attended Buyers meetings and helped sell and present product
Track record of factory liaison and critical path management
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Team player and an understanding of deadlines
Solid Design IT skills - Illustrator / CAD / Word etc
