Working 22.5 hours a week, you will join the team on Clyne Ward in providing treatment and support to Women with enduring mental illness.
As an Activities Coordinator, you will create an activity-based culture, which will see you use technical and creative skills to assist in developing, delivering, and coordinating programmes focused on social, recreational and leisure activities.

Supporting the Nursing Team, and with support and guidance from Occupational Therapy team, you will develop links with community-based resources to support service users to engage in local activities.
You'll develop roles and routines, which will support occupational participation and encourage service users to adopt a more active lifestyle. An integral part of the role also involves coordinating with the other ward within Tawe clinic in developing services and opportunities for all of our patients.
An exciting opportunity has arisen on Clyne Ward, Cefn Coed Hospital for an energetic, enthusiastic, innovative practitioner in the role of activity coordinator.
Clyne ward is a 14 bedded acute treatment ward for women suffering with enduring mental health illnesses. The activity coordinator is a vital part of our ward's multi-disciplinary team, their role is to organize and execute patient centred activities both on and off the ward in line with all UHB policies and procedures.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
