I am urgently recruiting for an experienced French speaking Credit Controller to join a Global Retail business in London on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. You will ideally be a native French speaker with a min of 3 years experience in credit control andmanaged a French ledger / looking after the French market

**What you will be doing**:

- Maintaining and improving the age debt position of the French AR ledger
- Working towards monthly targets, for example cash collection or 90+ overdue debt
- Liaising with customers & customer services to deal with queries
- Account reconciliation and dispute management
- Sending monthly statements
- Setting up new accounts; managing and reviewing credit limits for new and existing customers
- Management of cash postings, weekly direct debit runs and end of month bank reconciliations
- Ad hoc reporting including cash forecasting

**What we need from you**:

- French language skills (native speaker preferred)
- 3+ years' experience in credit control
- Experience in a B2B retail environment, managing accounts from small independents to large department stores and retailers.
- Methodical approach to tasks, able to demonstrate a calm demeanour under pressure
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure

**Additional skills and experience**:

- Detail oriented, able to deal with complex issues.
- Excellent people skills with strong ability to communicate with internal and external customers regarding all matters
- Passion for account reconciliations and willingness to follow up on claims and debit notes.
- Someone who is prepared to be flexible in their role for the benefit of the team.
- Highly driven individual with a hands-on deck mentality
- NetSuite or other cloud-based ERP knowledge advantageous
