Each year, the event sells out within hours and welcomes **hundreds of thousands of guests**, including celebrities and members of the Royal Family. Families journey through a **4.5-hour theatrical world** of storytelling, character interaction, and festive wonder, creating truly unforgettable memories.

**The Role: Magic Elf**

**Magic Elves are at the heart of the LaplandUK story.** In full costume and in character throughout the experience, you’ll help bring **Father Christmas’s woodland world** to life for every family who visits.

**In this role, you will**:

- **Guide families** through the snowy wonderland, leading them along magical Elven pathways
- **Support Father Christmas** during his visits, helping ensure each child’s experience feels truly magical and authentic
- **Take part in interactive performances** and immersive storytelling moments that bring the world of Lapland to life
- **Create lasting memories** through your warmth, energy, and festive spirit

If you’re confident, engaging, and love spreading joy, this could be your most magical role yet.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Those with performing or entertaining background with a playful, joyful spirit
- Confident interacting with children and families in character
- High-energy, enthusiastic and reliable team players
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, immersive environment

**Key Dates**
- **Paid training**: 24th Oct 25 - 10th Nov 25
- **Open to the public**: 11th Nov 25 - 24th Dec 25

**Pay & Benefits**
- **£13.25 per hour**, plus holiday pay
- Free hot meal each day, plus free tea, coffee and soft drinks
- 20% staff discount in LaplandUK retail shops (on selected dates)
- Free on-site parking
- **Free shuttle service from Macclesfield Train Station**

**Additional Details**
- **Contract length**:9 weeks
- Must be aged **18+** by October 2025
- **Work location**: On site at Capesthorne Hall, Congleton Road, Siddington, Macclesfield, SK11 9JY

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 6 weeks

Pay: £13.25 per hour
