**Quality Inspector**

Working with mechanical and composite materials, our MRO Inspectors investigate the condition of aircraft propellers and components, call-up repairs and replacement parts, and establish the serviceability of the product.

**Key tasks include**:

- Visual inspection techniques using magnification and borescopes to identify and assess damage and corrosion.
- Checking mechanical dimensions using a range of hand-held measuring equipment.
- Verifying aerofoils and other surfaces using 3D laser scanner equipment.
- Interpreting maintenance manuals and drawings for allowable limits and conditions.
- Keeping accurate and detailed records of findings and conclusions.
- Issuing release documentation for completed products.

**Key requirements include**:

- Previous experience of detailed examination of parts, infrastructure or vehicles, identifying faults and interpretation of specifications.
- Capability to follow detailed procedures.
- Comfortable with working towards KPIs.
- Customer centric approach.
- Willingness to work flexibly and be adaptable to the operational needs of the business.
- Prepared to learn both inspection and rework skills to eventually process entire propeller assemblies.

**Salary**: £29,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
