Are you driven by developing others? Are you a person that can inspire, coach, and motivate? We are looking for a Head of Management Training who can embrace our ‘Southern Hospitality’ mindset and help us to bring our authentic southern style food and hospitality to the UK.

**If you have previous experience in hospitality management to a senior level and training, then you might have the spark we are looking for**

As Head of Management Training, you will focus on the strategic development of our management training, ensuring we are striving to better ourselves and provide leading training and development. With our expansion plans we have in excess of 100 managers a year to train to an exceptionally high standard. Your team of Management Development Trainers will look to you to coach them in the operational elements of management alongside developing soft skills and creating business leaders.

Your role and responsibilities will include reviewing our current training offering and streamlining and amending where necessary to meet the increase in recruitment of managers, creating management programmes to support our current managers on their career journey. From Floor Manager to Area Managers, succession and development planning, conducting training needs analysis to always improve and implementing engaging initiatives to help retention and growth.

**Essential requirements of a successful Hickory’s Head of Management Training**:

- Previous training or coaching experience within a fast-paced or high volume restaurant environment.
- Previous management experience within hospitality - ideally at a General Manager or more senior level
- Ability to motivate, coach, train and develop your team to the Hickory's standard.
- Passionate about delivering an amazing guest experience and pushing team to reach their full potential.
- Have a welcoming, empathetic and infectious personality.
- The ability to create and implement high quality management training
- The ability to evaluate our processes and bring new ideas to the team.
- Open and honest communication skills, experience of or the ability to give feedback.
- Exceptional organisational skills and budget/cost management
