We are recruiting for a Consulting Actuary in California.
Working within the retirement team of this internationally renowned consultancy, you’ll be expected to be the go-to point of contact with clients - we are looking for an Actuary who isn’t just comfortable with the technical elements of the role, but someonewho enjoys getting out in front of clients and help support on solving complex problems whilst explaining them in a simple manner.
The role of an actuary has evolved, and my client embraces that; this isn’t a singular path nor is it a role where you would be confined to one area of pensions - you’ll get involved across DB, DC and retiree medical alongside being a leader of the business.
Whilst this firm have the clout of a big name, they can be flexible and creative for the forward-thinking actuary - how it’s always been done is of no interest. Is there is a better more efficient way to help build on already great foundations? Then they wantto know, new ideas are welcomed and more importantly, encouraged.
Ideally, you’ll be based in California or the surrounding circles but relocators are welcomed to apply. For this role you will need significant experience within the actuarial industry.
