You'll join our contact centre team at DWP Digital. It's a unique opportunity to use your skills in testing to help improve outcomes for people during tough times.

Our Test engineers build automated test solutions. You'll assure the quality of products used by millions of people. You'll make sure the stuff we build, maintain and modernise is efficient, accessible and works when people need to lean on DWP.

**Day to day you will**:

- Test all areas of the products - functional, business requirements, performance, security and accessibility.
- Work alongside other engineers and multidisciplinary experts, to build brilliant products and to hare knowledge and capability.
- Challenge current processes and identify tooling the right tooling for the job and to take testing forward in DWP.
- Use your knowledge on industry standard automated test tools, to build automated test solutions.
- Build your skills and career, through formal training, coaching, mentoring and whatever else you need to be at your best.

**What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?**
- Test Analysis - Contributes to improving delivery and understands the importance of evidence-based design and analysis.
- Testing - Correctly executes test scripts under supervision. Understands the role of testing and how it works.
- Non-Functional Testing - Aware of non-functional testing techniques. Able to execute non-functional test scenarios and raise defects. Can run non-functional tests others have written and knows the processes to do so. Understands a range of standard non-functionaltesting techniques.
- Contact Centre Test experience - Experience of testing within a Contact Centre environment.

You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in **Blackpool, Manchester or Newcastle,** whichever is most convenient for you.
