**Job Title: Dispatch Operative**

**Reports to: Dispatch Manager**

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
The position is to work at the end of production lines in a warehouse environment, making boxes and labelling, order picking and packing orders into cardboard boxes and working with a high level of accuracy.

We have a wide selection of handcrafted sandwiches, deli rolls, wraps and layered super food salad pots.

**Key Relationships**

To work closely with the Pick & Pack Supervisor to ensure correct delivery of our products to customers.

**Teamwork**
- Cover colleagues for short time periods when they are out of working area.
- To maintain a good working atmosphere within the team.
- Communicate well with line management and other team members.

**Health, Safety and Hygiene**
- To report any equipment damages or malfunction to the Supervisor or Production Manager.
- Maintaining high levels of Health & Safety and Hygiene always.
- Follow a clean as you go policy.
- To wear all PPE provided in the correct manner, and to ensure that company policies including hand washing and personal food safety rules are followed.
- Report any incident or near miss to Supervisor/Dispatch manager immediately.
- Where Heavy lifting is required, make sure team lifting is carried out.
- Don’t operate any machine prior training.
