Working alongside the Digital Manager in this prestigious firm, the WordPress Developer plays a key role in the day-to-day management of the firm's website and intranet, as well as the optimisation of digital marketing campaigns. You will need to be a WordPressexpert who will enjoy updating the website and intranet in a busy environment.

Your role:

- Back-end and front-end development of the ns website and intranet.
- Guide the development of the website to meet changing needs and audiences.
- Integrate with other systems to make the website more dynamic.
- Accurately translate user and business needs into clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Ensure the website and intranet deliver the best user experience across desktop and mobile and adhere to accessibility standards.
- Implement responsive design solutions that enhance the user experience across all devices.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Optimize loading speeds and capacity. Debug pages, forms and fix broken links or images.
- Monitor and analyse site performance.
- Design and develop APIs.
- Ongoing SEO optimisations and reporting.
- Support the wider Marketing team with the execution of internal and external digital campaigns.

As the WordPress developer you will need the qualifications and skills below:
**Qualifications**:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent

Knowledge/Experience
- Expert knowledge of WordPress, themes and plugins.
- Front-end development experience using Javascript, HTML5 & CSS3
- Knowledge of Javascript, JQuery, PHP and MYSQL database.
- Strong experience in implementing responsive design.
- Experience performing browser testing and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Website optimisation for SEO, performance and speed.
- Knowledge of Adobe products (Photoshop and Illustrator)
- Experience in AJAX and API integration (not essential)
- Strong delivery focus, with a track record of doing so to deadlines.
- Proactive and excellent organisational/project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including oral/written communications, influencing, diplomacy, flexibility, tenacity.
